Rusty on the stand

• Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers revealed in his testimony before the committee that he repeatedly asked Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani for definitive proof of election fraud.
• Giuliani and another of Trump's attorneys, Jenna Ellis, failed to produce evidence of fraud during meetings with Bowers.
• Trump asked Bowers to overturn the election results in Arizona and pressure other representatives to do the same.

Rough on Ron

• The committee revealed that Republican Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsin tried to give Vice President Mike Pence a slate of alternate electors from Michigan and Wisconsin who would vote for Trump.
• Johnson's chief of staff texted Pence's legislative director, "Johnson needs to hand something to VPOTUS please advise" when asked what it was, he responded, "Alternate slate of electors for MI and WI because archivist didn't receive them."
• Pence's legislative director Chris Hodgson refused the list, writing to Johnson's chief of staff, "Do not give that to him."

Election workers testify

• Two Georgia election workers, Shaye Moss, and Ruby Freeman, testified before the committee about their experience being targeted and scapegoated by Trump for what he claimed was evidence of election fraud.
• Trump and Giuliani pushed a conspiracy theory that hinged on a video of Shaye and her mother Ruby carrying a suitcase of ballots. Trump claimed they were carrying USB drives "like vials of heroin or cocaine," which contained fake ballots.
• After Giuliani used video footage of them unloading the suitcase of valid ballots to peddle claims that the election was fraudulent, Both Moss and Freeman testified that they felt extremely unsafe and received death threats and harassing messages.
• Freeman testified that she was warned not to live at home by the FBI during the days before the certification of the election results on January 6th. She told the committee, "There is nowhere I feel safe. Nowhere."
